We’re a small digital-first team that’s changing an industry for the better and we're looking for a Product Manager to help us get there. The role We are looking for a Product Manager with an e-Commerce background to lead one of our four development teams. Product and Tech at thortful covers a range of responsibility areas across every aspect of the customer and creator experience, internal tools and systems, and marketing tech. We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager who can deliver high profile strategic projects, working cross-functionally to ensure successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects, analysing product performance, and leading on discovery for new opportunities. Collaboration is key to this role, and you will be working closely with Product Designers, Engineers, Marketing, Brand and our Leadership team. What you’ll be doing Foster an innovative culture, encouraging team members and stakeholders to think differently. Lead on developing and delivering key projects that help us evolve our proposition, reach new customers, and improve our user experience to deepen customer loyalty. Build relationships with stakeholders and leadership, to understand, define and prioritise new opportunities that drive customer and business outcomes. Work closely with Tech Leads and Engineers to assess the technical feasibility of new ideas, and align on technical spec and approach. Foster strong communication and team alignment across Product and Engineering, enabling efficient delivery of tech projects against our goals. Define and measure KPIs that will allow you to make data driven decisions. Conduct in-depth product analysis and bring this together with customer research and user feedback to share key insights across the business. Being an evangelist of outcome-led product management within the business, contributing towards development of a strong product culture within thortful. Work with the Product and Marketing Managers to develop long term strategies for acquiring and retaining customers, including building a deep understanding of customer needs and market opportunities, and how we’ll continue to differentiate ourselves and grow. About you You enjoy working at pace and are not afraid to take risks and demonstrate sound judgement in assessing risk. You have a proven track record of delivering positive impact as a Product Manager, working directly with engineers and product designers. You have worked in e-commerce/a direct to consumer business You have experience working directly with Marketing teams, on projects that support key marketing metrics, such as retention, frequency and customer LTV. You are a champion of customer-centric thinking, always looking to solve the real problems. You have strong commercial acumen, with an ability to assess value and build business cases. You are data literate and have experience of conducting your own analysis and bringing together multiple data sources to drive insights. You understand how to balance both customer and business needs with technical feasibility, and can prioritise opportunities to focus on the biggest impact and value. You are competent across the whole product development lifecycle. You would enjoy working in a scale up and thrive in a fast moving environment. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and change and are looking for a challenge and a place where you can have a greater influence.
