We’re looking for a seasoned Software Project Manager ready for something more meaningful than routine delivery. The Opportunity As our new Project Manager at VTS (your title will beDelivery Leadwithin our business), you’ll work closely alongside your VTS colleagues in the Delivery, Engineering and Product teams, as well as with our customers across metering and network management and planning to deliver multiple initiatives across the VTS portfolio. You’ll own projects end-to-end, ensuring strong governance, commercial viability, and meaningful outcomes for both VTS and our customers. At VTS, today you might run a defect meeting, pull together a Statement of Work, and review your budgets. Tomorrow you could run a risk assessment workshop, make sure the teams are delivering to plan, and provide a progress update to your stakeholders. Does this sound like you? You’ll be responsible for: Securing project funding through robust business cases and owning governance processes Translating business cases and technical requirements into commercially clear Statements of Work (SOWs) alongside Engineering and Product teams Working with Product Owners and Technical Leads alongside development teams, responsible for delivering back end front end software changes to our Diverge platform and other systems, Managing delivery reporting including project status, risks, issues, and budgets across pipeline, in-progress, and operational activities Providing financial reporting and analysis on projects to the Head of Delivery What You’ll Bring A proven track record in implementing software change in SaaS platforms, ideally with experience in AWS, cloud-native, or serverless environments At least 5 years of solid experience in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and scaled agile methodologies Demonstratable history of managing multiple, concurrent projects with budgets over $1M, while maintaining strong governance and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment Strength in stakeholder engagement across complex, matrixed organisations A collaborative, “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude and experience navigating cross-functional team dynamics Natural communication skills, with a track record of leading client-facing meetings, facilitating workshops, and driving action from stakeholders Preferred background in Utilities or Telecommunications, with SAP or metering experience an added bonus Strong business analysis capabilities, including requirement gathering, SOW and business case definition.
