The role involves carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Future shift options may be available with higher earnings through shift premiums. Overtime is available at 1.5x rates, potentially increasing annual earnings above £40,000. Responsibilities:Mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment Preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues Repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Fitting mechanical parts and fabrication Working with engineering drawings Completing maintenance records accurately Adhering to H&S and company policies Requirements:Time-served Maintenance Fitter/Maintenance Engineer Experience in manufacturing settings working with automated equipment Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge Preferably experience with fabricating and working with lathes & milling Benefits:Generous employer pension match, enhanced annual leave with service, and health cash plan.
