Here at Aviva, we are currently seeking a Loss Adjuster — a home-based position visiting customers in the Norwich area. To be considered, you must have a full UK driving license and reside in this region, as customer visits are an integral part of your role! A bit about the job: You will be responsible for providing a customer-focused and cost-effective service by handling property claims from instruction to completion, ensuring all claims are managed within agreed financial limits. Your role will be based from home, involving reasonable travel across the UK to meet customer needs. We embrace flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to provide the best service. A company car will be provided for your travel. Skills and experience we’re looking for: As part of Aviva’s Major Complex Claims team, we’re excited to welcome an experienced insurance professional with a passion for handling high-value and complex property claims. High-Value Claims Experience:Ideally, you have experience with claims around £100,000, but we’re happy to consider those with experience over £50,000. Professional Growth:A minimum qualification of Cert CII or CILA is required; aiming for Dip CII is a plus, but not essential. Technical Know-How:Deep understanding of insurance principles, subrogation, underwriting practices, and ABI report writing is highly valued. Building Practices Insight:Knowledge of building practices and regulations for property reinstatements and tendering processes is a big plus.
