EG212838 - Trainee Biomedical Scientist Band 5 Clinical BiochemistryJoin to apply for theEG212838 - Trainee Biomedical Scientist Band 5 Clinical Biochemistryrole atNHS Ayrshire & Arran Applications are invited from graduates with an Applied Biomedical Science (Hons) degree, or a Biomedical Sciences (Hons) degree accredited by the IBMS as suitable for training, or equivalent.Newly graduated candidates, if successful, will be placed on Band 5 and must complete their Specialist Portfolio before progressing to a Band 6 role as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist.Our modern, well-equipped laboratory is the main provider of services to NHS Grampian, serving a population of approximately 600,000 and conducting over 8 million tests annually.Successful candidates will be expected to participate in the out-of-hours rota once trained and deemed competent.The department is approved by IBMS/HCPC as a training laboratory and is UKAS accredited.
