Tutors are required to: • have strong knowledge of GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics • deliver active lessons using a whiteboard in a classroom setting. Materials and workbooks are available for group and one-to-one lessons • provide feedback to parents about their children’s progress • inspire children through positive criticism Skills and Experience RequiredPerson Specification The ideal applicant will be: • someone who takes initiative • good at multitasking • someone who is punctual and reliable • able to work under pressure and towards set deadlines • able to teach new concepts in a fun and engaging way • able to keep students interested and focused • passionate about teaching • UK GCSEs with minimum grade 8 or equivalent for Science • Must have at least one Science A Level • Preferably doing a Science degree • Must be an undergraduate or graduate A DBS check certificate is required,must meet the following criteria: Less than 2 years old; Include child barred list; Position applied for must be within the child workforce sector (Note: If it doesn’t meet the criteria then Big Fish Tutors will need to apply for a new DBS on the candidate’s behalf, which the candidate is required to pay for)#J-18808-Ljbffr
