Location:This post will be based at Alzheimer Scotland Brain Health and Dementia Resource Centre in Kirkcaldy, although will involve providing Outreach Support across Fife. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers, and families. We campaign for the rights of people with dementia and fund vital dementia research. We are looking for a Community Connexions Outreach Worker for the Fife area. You will support people living with dementia to establish personal goals and help them achieve these. The Outreach service offers short-term intervention and support, guiding and assisting individuals and their carers to live as independently as possible. This may involve reducing social isolation, building confidence in using public transport, engaging with the community, and more. What You’ll HaveThe successful candidate will have a flexible approach and be able to handle various enquiries and partnerships driven by the community and external partners. You should be a fantastic communicator, listening effectively and providing clear, concise, and detailed advice to a varied audience.
