Main duties of the jobThe successful applicant will support an expanding clinical workforce over three of the boroughs, based at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant and covering clinical services at Prince Charles in Merthyr Tydfil and Princess of Wales in Bridgend. The successful candidate will be expected to provide general/core urological services and have a commitment to a 1:8 on call rota with a service desire to reach a 1:10. The post holder will be trained in general urology and will be encouraged to develop a subspecialist interest to complement the wider department. The department has a strong record with stone surgery, upper tract laparoscopic surgery, paediatric urology and tertiary referral andrology and penile cancer.
