Ofwat has reduced Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODIs) by around 40%, now totaling 24, with ODIs being the same for all water companies. Everything You Need to KnowAs anInsights & Change Analyst , you will play a crucial role in bridging data and business strategy. You will identify improvements and innovations to drive ODI benefits, cycling through multiple programmes of work with a handful of ODIs at a time. You’ll support the development of new ideas and plans to significantly improve performance on key ODIs for AMP8. This involves conducting analysis to identify drivers, reviewing innovations from other companies, and creating new ideas using various data sources. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentifying data analysis opportunities to improve ODI delivery and supporting the development of relevant business cases Gathering and presenting evidence to support different approaches and interventions Reviewing and summarising published documents in written and verbal formats Conducting desk research to find global opportunities and innovations applicable to ODI performance Utilising data for cost-benefit analysis What You’ll Bring to the RoleWe seek a Data Analyst skilled in statistical analysis and data visualisation, capable of communicating insights to non-technical audiences. You should have excellent communication skills to present findings to senior stakeholders, offering creative ideas and recommendations to enhance ODI performance. You should have a strong analytical mindset, capable of defining and solving complex problems, with experience in using data from multiple sources to draw clear conclusions, and in writing succinct technical reports and business cases. Effective communication of findings, performance outcomes, risks, and opportunities is essential. You should be able to articulate key points clearly and persuasively, guiding stakeholders to understand the main issues and drivers. You will need to build internal networks with key stakeholders and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
