They offer innovative products and services, and market-leading refrigeration technology, for which we have received awards and industry accreditations.The Job:Our client is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to supporting them across Devon and Cornwall.As an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer you will be responsible for the following:Service and Maintenance of commercial and Industrial refrigeration plant and equipmentCarrying out minor and major services of large compressorsCarrying out pre-planned maintenance tasks to a high standardFollow maintenance programmes to meet client and company requirements to ensure trouble free operation of all refrigeration equipmentWork as a team to achieve efficient solutions to problematic issuesEffective use of Parts, including delivery / collection / returnsUpdating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely mannerCarry out site/plant surveys when requested or requiredEnsure you are completing and returning all required paperwork on timeAssist and support ME with arrangements to cover absencesKeep customer/ME/office informed of potential issues, and possible actions required to resolveEnsure all client/company logging requirements are completed by yourself e.g. ATAS, completion notes, maintenance reports etcBe part of an out of hours stand-by rota to give our customers 24/7 supportObtaining quotations for replacement partsThe Person:For this role our client is seeking someone who has:F-Gas 2079 Category 1 and Ammonia awareness certificationRelevant experience in the refrigeration industry as an EngineerPossess the ability to understand and consistently complete work from SOPs (standard operating procedures)CO2 experienceExcellent attitude and approach to workWilling to carry out compressor rebuilds/servicingHighly self-reliant, motivated, and enthusiasticApproachable, open, and able to work as part of a teamExcellent customer care and interpersonal skillsCommitment to quality and attention to detailPossesses the relevant technical skills and knowledge required in refrigerationThe Benefits:22 days holiday, rising incrementally to 25, plus bank holidays.
