Job descriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations while ensuring timely deliveries. Experience with flatbed driving is preferred, as well as a valid commercial driving licence.ResponsibilitiesOperate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.Load and unload cargo, ensuring that goods are secured properly for transport.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.Working with fresh produce.Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.ExperienceProven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential.Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is highly desirable.A valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) is required.Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.If you are an enthusiastic individual with a passion for driving and logistics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to be part of our dedicated team!Job Type: PermanentPay: 14.00-15.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayJBRP1_UKTJ
