Head of Engineering required to join a well-established manufacturing company that specialise in Metal Stamping, based in the Wolverhampton area. The successful candidate will be someone that is looking to take on a leadership role within a rapidly growing manufacturing business. With a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, the company offers a complete manufacturing process to a diverse customer base.As the Head of Engineering, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth and innovation agenda. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver on new product introductions, drive innovation, and continuously improve production and process engineering for current products. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering strategies, projects, and initiatives that will drive the company forward.Head of Engineering Position OverviewLeading and managing a team of engineers to ensure the successful delivery of new product introductions, innovation projects, and improvements to production processesDeveloping and implementing engineering strategies, projects, and initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives and customer requirementsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiencyProviding technical expertise and guidance to support the development of new products and processesIdentifying and implementing new technologies, processes, and equipment to enhance the company's manufacturing capabilities and competitive edgeEnsuring compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices in engineering and manufacturingHead of Engineering Position RequirementsA degree in engineering or a related field, with professional qualifications such as chartered engineer status preferredDemonstrated experience in leading and managing engineering teams to deliver on new product introductions and process improvementsStrong technical knowledge and expertise in Pressings, press tooling, laser cutting and automationExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challengesProven ability to drive continuous improvement in product quality, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiencyExperience in project management, budgeting, and resource allocationStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAutomotive industry experience, including overall responsibility for PPAP submission.Head of Engineering Position RemunerationFull time - Permanent position35 hour week - 08:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 13:30 on FridaysSalary DOE33 days holiday including bhQuarterly BonusPension contributions up to 6% #J-18808-Ljbffr
