Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen within the People Directorate for a People Systems and Compliance Manager offering strategic support and expert guidance to our systems teams looking after ESR, Payroll, Trust Bank (NHS Professionals), Workforce Planning and Recruitment. You will also take a lead on compliance ensuring risks are identified and escalated as necessary.You will be passionate about improving processes and procedures and ensuring adherence to frameworks and regulations. You will have experience of managing workforce systems such as Payroll and ESR. You will also ideally have been involved in the job evaluation process as well as workforce planning.This is full time post, but we would consider applicants looking for part time (minimum of 30 hours per week).Please note the Trust will not provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status.Main duties of the jobThe People Systems and Compliance Manager will oversee the workforce systems and compliance across the Trust, providing strategic and operational support. They will ensure compliance with employment laws, promote best practices, support workforce planning and support the continuous improvement our processes and procedures.Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team this hands-on role requires a proactive individual who can form positive working relationships internally and externally. You will have experience of working with workforce data, measuring against KPIs and managing systems and contracts.This role is ideal for an experienced individual or an individual looking to take the next step.
