Grosvenor Casino seeks an experienced cashier to lead its cash desk operations. A key aspect of this role is coaching and mentoring team members, fostering engagement and development. You will: Acknowledge, welcome, and assist customers across all areas. Uphold our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions. Collaborate with the broader casino supervisory team. Ensure compliance with the Gambling Act, licensing objectives, codes of practice, AML, and Safer Gambling regulations. Monitor and enforce financial transaction thresholds, escalating exceptions to the Duty/Gaming manager when necessary. Be responsible for safeguarding all company assets under your charge. Implement security procedures and develop new processes in coordination with gaming/casino managers to enhance efficiency and asset security. Work with gaming managers to train and develop cash desk staff. Conduct regular performance appraisals and reviews for team members. Report directly to the Casino Manager (Hosting/Gaming). QualificationsProven accuracy in transactional work as a Cashier, serving as a role model for others. Strong knowledge of legislation, codes, and procedures related to the cash desk, serving as a reference for training and queries, and conducting competency interviews. Comprehensive understanding of cash desk computer systems. Valid PFL license issued by the Gambling Commission.
