My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a position in Eastleigh. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of 18 per hour PAYE or 23.42 per hour plus holiday pay through umbrella The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a range of plumbing and mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure the effective operation of facilities. You will be expected to perform inspections, identify faults, and carry out repairs and installations in accordance with industry standards. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety. Skills: Proficiency in plumbing and mechanical systems maintenance Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to perform inspections and fault diagnosis Knowledge of health and safety regulations Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Time management skills Attention to detail Physical stamina and manual dexterity Previous experience as a Maintenance Plumber or Mechanical Engineer in a corporate or commercial background is essential.
