Job Purpose Delivering and collection of plant machinery, to customers using a Heavy Goods Vehicle in a safe, professional, and timely manner.You will beworking in a safety critical role and be responsible for delivering to a schedule and working to timescales. You will be required to maintain good care of your vehicle, conform to customer site transport plans, ensure all loads are secured, perform daily safety checks, and keep transport documents and paperwork updated. Key skills & Duties -Oversee the safe loading of the vehicle and ensure the load is distributed and secured correctly. -Ensure the loaded equipment is correct against the customers order and is loaded within the maximum weight allowances of the vehicle. -Follow collection/delivery instructions as per the information on the Insphire system. -Deliver the customers order in a timely and safe manner with respect for the customers property. -Handle any issues raised at the point of delivery calmly, effectively, and professionally. -Always conduct yourself in a professional manner. -Ensure the vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy condition. -Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the highway code, tachograph legislation and driver hours limits. -Ensure the vehicle is not subject to unnecessary damage. -Report damage and losses of equipment -Carry out daily checks and report any defect...
