Kindt Clinics London is hiring a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with extensive CBT experience in treating anxiety disorders.Were a specialised clinic focused on phobias, known from the Channel 4 series The Fear Clinic (2024). Our primary treatment method is Memrec, developed by Dr. Merel Kindt, Professor in Clinical Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Since 2018, we have treated over 2,500 people. 85% of treatments are effective in one round (two sessions), and we take pride in our high client satisfaction. After establishing our clinic in Amsterdam, we are currently planning to open a second location in London.Our way of workingWith Memrec, there is a strict protocol but at the same time each treatment needs to be tailored to the individual patient. A key part of the treatment is confronting the fear directly. We do whatever is needed to make that happen. This means we often go on-site whether thats a high-rise building, open water, or public transport. We also collaborate with various professionals, such as nurses and dog owners. This makes the work sometimes unpredictable, but always dynamic and engaging. Treatments are one-on-one, but colleagues are always closely involved in the background.Your roleYou will conduct intake interviews and treat patients. Most of our psychologists work two or four days a week: the first day for treatment, the next day to test the treatment effect and practice with the patient.Training and supervisionYou will receive training in the Memrec method, and supervision on a regular basis.
