They are expanding their UK-based engineering team and hiring multiple ASIC Design Engineers (mid-level to senior architect). About the role: As a Hardware Verification Engineer, you will be a key part of our engineering team, ensuring our complex RISC-V-based systems are robust, high-performing, and built to scale. What you will be doing: Creating and executing thorough verification plans for complex hardware designs Developing SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches for functional verification Running directed and constrained-random tests Maintaining regression suites to validate design quality Supporting system-level performance validation Debugging design issues and working closely with design engineers Using formal verification techniques when appropriate Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware verification (preferably in SoCs) Strong skills in SystemVerilog and UVM Experience with modern verification tools (ABV, CDV, etc.) Bonus: Experience with GPU, vector processors, or AI accelerators Bonus: Familiarity with RISC-V architecture Strong debugging and analytical skills Scripting experience (Python, Perl, TCL) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar Why join our client: Be part of a forward-thinking company at the forefront of open hardware Work on meaningful, next-gen GPU and AI projects Collaborate with a passionate, expert team Enjoy a flexible, innovative work culture
