Youll work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team.About Amberley Health CentreRAAF Base Amberley, the largest Air Force Base in Australia and approximately 50 minutes from Brisbane city. It provides operational and maintenance support for the precision strike element of the Air Combat Group, F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft. Supports the strategic lift capability for the Australian militarys KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), C-17 Globemaster III heavy lift aircraft and C-27J Spartan battlefield airlifters. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to over 6500 RAAF members. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday Thursday (depending on role requirements), and a half day (5.5 hours) Friday.Your ImpactWe are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a permanent part time capacity.As a Medical Officer, you will:Deliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policiesWork collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnelAssess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical supportProvide medical technical advice to Defence leadershipWork across outpatient and inpatient care settings as neededWhat Youll NeedUnrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical PractitionerFRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational RegistrationMinimum 2 years full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 yearsAustralian Citizen for Baseline Security Clearance requirementsWhy Join Us?Serco is a trusted partner of the Australian Defence Force, providing integrated healthcare across 40+ bases.
