You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.ResponsibilitiesLine manage the housing team and the property services managerProvide a responsive, high-quality housing service that is sensitive to the needs and preferences of older residentsMonitor rent accounts and take action to minimise arrears, ensuring appropriate referrals to debt advice and benefit supportOversee tenancy, licence and resident queries and complaints, ensuring clear resolution in line with policiesManage voids and allocations efficiently, maintaining a clear waiting list and ensuring timely lettingsWork with the property services manager to deliver effective repairs, maintenance, and property complianceEnsure housing records, support plans, and safeguarding practices meet regulatory requirementsKeep the CEO and board informed of changes in housing legislation, sector developments, and good practiceProduce regular housing management reports for the board, operations committee, and managed agent boardsLead on all regulatory submissions (e.g. NROSH, CORE lettings, tenant satisfaction measures)Develop and deliver the housing strategy, including stock improvement, remodelling or growth opportunitiesPromote strong communication with residents and ensure the tenant voice is embedded in service design and improvementAct as health and safety lead for all housing services, embedding safe working practices across all schemesPromote and manage the charitable grant programme, ensuring clear application, decision-making and communication processesDistribute grants to older people referred in housing or financial needAct as agent for other charities distributing special funds, ensuring accurate records are maintainedEssential requirements for the role:Minimum 5 years of experience working in housing management within an RSL.
