Previous experience in the management of financial advisors is a prerequisite for this role Salary- 100-120k Bonus Cardiff (3 days in-office) | 2 days remote | Up to 100k 20-30k Bonus Weve just landed an incredible opportunity with one of our major national clients a prestigious and well-established financial advice firm and theyre looking for a Performance Manager to lead from the front and help shape the future of their newest regional hub.The Role: This is a non-fee earning leadership role focused on managing, mentoring, and growing a team of 15 Financial Advisers and 15 support staff , with ambitions to expand across the region.You'll be the go-to person for performance, development, and professional standards across a key geographical area spanning Bridgend, Pontypool, Chepstow, Hereford, Aberystwyth , and eventually Bristol .Youll be based in North East Cardiff 3 days a week, working from their brand-new office (set to open by December), with 2 days from home.What Youll Be Doing: Leading a growing team of high-performing IFAs and support staff Driving recruitment, performance reviews, appraisals, and 1-2-1s Building professional connections across the region Supporting growth and advisor development without the pressure of client fees Helping shape the expansion into Aberystwyth and the Bristol market What Were Looking For: Level 4 Diploma qualified (essential) Previous experience managing IFAs , with a track record of leadership success Proven experience in: Recruitment Staff appraisals Performance reviews Disciplinaries Monthly 1-2-1s with advisers Happy to be office-based in Cardiff 3 days a week Strategic, growth-minded, and confident building external partnerships Whats in It for You?
