Job Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Cardiff, Wales Contract: Freelance Duration: 69 Months Start Date: Immediate Day Rate: Competitive Key Responsibilities: Lead cost management and commercial oversight for the full project lifecycle Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration (JCT/NEC) Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts Liaise closely with the client, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain progress and budget targets Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and risk management Requirements: Minimum 7 years experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally with recent freelance/contract roles Proven experience on regeneration, residential or mixed-use schemes (20m) Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and cost control RICS qualified (or working toward), preferred but not essential Based in or within commuting distance of Cardiff
