Work at an elite US law firm with a strong reputation for innovation, excellence, and collaboration.Operate as part of a global team, liaising directly with senior lawyers.Real scope to influence policy, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to the firms conflicts strategy and technology evolution.As a Conflicts Lawyer, you will support the firms regulatory obligations by managing the identification and resolution of legal and business conflicts.Working closely with Partners and the Department Director, you will guide the firms approach to conflict clearance, supervise Conflicts Analysts and Specialists, and assist in refining internal processes and tools.The role is central to the firms ability to accept new matters, clients, and legal talent with confidence and integrity.Key Responsibilities Review and analyse complex conflict reports for new matters, clients, and lateral hires.Identify, assess, and resolve ethical and business conflicts across UK and US jurisdictions.Liaise directly with lawyers and internal stakeholders to provide clear, actionable conflict guidance.Assist in drafting engagement letters, waiver letters, and establishing information barriers.Mentor and support junior team members and contribute to training programmes.Research professional conduct rules and jurisdiction-specific guidance to support conflict resolution.Support the implementation and refinement of conflicts and intake systems (e.g., IntApp).Participate in an on-call rotation for conflict checking and clearance support.Earning an attractive six-figure salary, this role is ideal for a qualified lawyer (UK or US) with 3 years of conflicts experience in a major law firm environment.You will need strong analytical and research skills, a solid understanding of legal ethics rules (particularly SRA and ABA), and excellent judgement.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are key, as is the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive under pressure.Experience with conflicts software (such as IntApp) is highly advantageous.This is a standout opportunity for a skilled and motivated Conflicts Lawyer who thrives on complexity, values precision, and enjoys collaborating with high-performing colleagues.Youll be trusted with real responsibility, work closely with senior leadership, and have the chance to contribute meaningfully to the development of policies, systems, and people within one of the legal worlds most respected global platforms.
