Overview Our client is seeking an Assistant Employers Agent / Project Manager to incorporate assisting the Project Manager/Employers Agent in delivery of Projects for a variety of Clients.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, working on a variety of projects within the residential and mixed-use sector.If you have a good technical knowledge, excellent client-facing skills, and experience in project delivery, wed love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities Duties Work within a small team, reporting directly to the Team Leader/Delivery Director.Experience & Qualifications Preferably a degree level qualification (other qualifications will be considered).Previous office work, preferably within a construction setting.Skills, Knowledge and Understanding Liaise closely with Clients, Contractors, Developers, Clerk of Works and other key stakeholders.Begin to understand the requirements of Housing Associations and Local Authorities and how they differ as Clients.Develop and understanding of the requirements of your role as EA/PM within the business with close collaboration with your manager/team leader.Begin to advise clients on matters arising on schemes.Taking minutes in meetings and understanding the context of discussion points.Understand key deliverables within your contract to ensure the Client gets the information they need.Pre-Contract Procedures & Administration Pre-Contract Procedures and Admin.Assist with discussions with Contractors, Developers, Clients and Stakeholders.Take Pre-Contract minutes.Develop and understand the brief along with your Team Leader to assist scheme delivery.Preparation of Notices, Certificates and Payments.Carry out key reviews to identify scheme compliance vs key criteria.Assist with NDSS assessments.Assist with drawing reviews.Cost Benchmarking understanding.Assist with the tender processes and procurement of key consultants.Post-Contract Procedure Take progress meeting minutes.Post-Contract Procedures and Admin.Continue with the above actions in to Contract.Carry out interim site inspections.Carry out snagging and de-snagging inspections.Carry out handover inspections ensuring successful Client delivery.Developing Client relationships with Project Managers.Follow the Client QMS to ensure standardised delivery.Carry out End of Defects inspections.Assist with the issue and agreement of Final Accounts/Statements.Clients: Developers Housing Associations Local Authorities Registered Providers All based in South/SE London, Kent, Essex, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire Rewards and Benefits: Competitive salary Discretionary bonus incentive Pension contributions Private medical insurance 28 days holiday (incl Bank Holidays) 3-4 days during Xmas period 1 day off for birthday Professional Subscriptions Salary 35,000- 45,000 per annum
