Estimator / Senior Estimator Location: HybridIf your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.- Leighton Buzzard Salary: Competitive with benefits Contract Type: Permanent, full-time (MondayFriday, 08:3017:00) The Role Were working with a highly regarded contractor in the social housing sector, who are looking to expand their pre-construction team with the addition of an experienced Senior Estimator.With flexibility to be based out of Leighton Buzzard, youll be part of a collaborative commercial team delivering accurate and competitive pricing for refurbishment projects across the UK.This is a hybrid role offering 3 days in the office and 2 from home.The position is focused on pricing social housing refurbishment schemes from first principles including kitchens, bathrooms, rewires, externals, and other planned works.Youll be working alongside the Bid and Operational teams and will be encouraged to take ownership of tenders from concept to submission.Whats On Offer Competitive salary 27 days holiday bank holidays (option to buy or sell) Company car or car allowance Pension scheme with up to 7.5% employer contribution Hybrid working model Healthcare discount scheme High street & lifestyle discounts (including Tastecard) One paid volunteering day per year Long service awards What Youll Bring Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator, ideally within social housing refurbishment Strong understanding of cost planning and pricing from first principles Confidence in managing large-scale schemes and multiple smaller jobs simultaneously Experience using Causeway or similar estimating software (preferred) Solid commercial awareness and ability to liaise with clients, architects, and internal departments Knowledge of SMM7 or NRM measurement methods Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-driven, commercially astute, and a team player If youre an Estimator or Senior Estimator with a background in social housing refurbishment and youre looking to join a forward-thinking, people-first contractor, wed love to hear from you.Contact William at Engineered Connections on 020 3834 9649 Please note that sponsorship will not be offered for this position
