This client is looking to open further offices across the country, with an immediate focus on Bristol.All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.They would also consider other locations for the right calibre of person, especially Birmingham.They are a team of passionate individuals with decades of experience across the UK real estate market.Focused on delivering outstanding valuation advisory solutions to clients with a relentless attitude to getting it right first time, motivates them to achieve and surpass their clients expectations.Key responsibilities Provide industry leading valuation advice on all types of assets Carry out Red Book valuations for lending institutions Undertake valuations for a variety of purposes such as accounts, tax, mergers, acquisitions, expert witness Undertake advisory instructions where valuation solutions are required, e.g., options analysis Be a trusted expert in the respective markets areas To maintain and develop contacts with all types of clients to secure regular valuation instructions and consultancy advice Develop a pipeline of prospect clients and fee income Assist the Managing Director to grow the team and the business Develop a tangible business development plan for growth Attend relevant industry events to broaden own knowledge and expand professional network of contacts Present to existing and prospect clients on market trends and keep clients abreast of market intelligence Prepare professional pitch documents to win new instructions Identify, manage, and mitigate risk within the business Personal Requirements FRICS / MRICS qualified Registered Valuer Deep desire and motivation to establish and grow the business Self-motivated and proactive Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients and enjoys working as part of a team but is also able to operate autonomously in an efficient and productive manner Proven valuation experience of commercial and residential properties, both investment and development Excellent IT skills, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint Working knowledge of valuation software packages Solid market knowledge of the property sectors and local geography Attention to detail, especially when writing own valuation reports, reviewing valuation report of others, and reviewing detailed due diligence Excellent communication skills enabling the development of good relationships with both clients and colleagues Organisation and personal time management skills are required with the ability to meet strict deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment An ability to carry out research, work independently and present this information clearly This role would suit someone at Associate Director or above who would relish the challenge to grow their own office and with the help provided by the company in providing work to get the ball rolling.
