Tech Scale Up Advisor Length of Contract: 6 months Rate: Negotiable Hours: 2 days per week Venn Group are currently working with a Local Authority based in South Yorkshire who are seeking a Tech Scale Up Advisor on a temporary basis.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.The role will be 2 days based in and around South Yorkshire.Main duties of the job: The consultant will provide tailored, high-impact advisory support to early-stage tech businesses, including: Strategic Guidance: Facilitate 1-2-1 advisory sessions with startup founders, helping them define and prioritise.MVP Development: Provide insights on product development, guiding businesses from concept to MVP, and testing market viability.Investment Readiness: Offer advice on preparing for investment where appropriate, including pitch deck development, funding strategies, and introductions to investors.Ecosystem Navigation: Connect startups to relevant business support initiatives, grants, and funding opportunities.Stakeholder Introductions: Leverage your network to introduce startups to key investors, mentors, and industry experts who can accelerate their growth.The successful candidate must have experience as a founder of a tech startup or substantial experience mentoring/supporting early-stage tech businesses through MVP development and beyond.To apply for this role and for more information, please send your updated CV to Jake Simms at jsimms@venngroup.com or call 0161 830 1830 Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
