Operations Assistant £13.50 per hour Bury St Edmunds Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm Temporary Our Client based in Bury St Edmunds is searching for a proactive and detail oriented Operations Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business operations, coordinating marketing and lead generation activities, handling and organising data and supporting the wider team with administrative support. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee scheduling, meetings, and leave approvals Liaise with external partners and service providers Manage HR-related documentation, contracts, onboarding processes, and leave administration Handle general office operations, procurement, and administrative tasks Oversee petty cash transactions and general receipts Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures Assess and qualify leads, coordinate telemarketing efforts, and manage the sales pipeline Track and report KPIs accurately across all lead generation activities Compile and analyse weekly and monthly performance reports Handle client onboarding, manage agreements, and maintain accurate records Assist in planning and coordinating client events Key Skills: Extensive background in administrative and/or operational based roles Previous experience using CRM platforms Experience handling data management, digital tools, and marketing systems Highly organised, proactive, tech-savvy, and innovative Solutions-oriented mindset Experienced in client interactions and successful project execution Familiarity with QuickBooks or basic accounting principles is desirable Why work with Hales?
