Senior HR Business Partner - Support CentreJob IntroductionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner to join Card Factory. This role involves partnering with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams across Finance, Property, Business Development, and Digital to develop strategic people plans that enhance employee and organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, embedding themselves in their business areas through expertise, insight, and collaboration. We operate flexible working principles at Card Factory, combining some days at our support centre in Wakefield (minimum 2 days a week) with remote work. Role ResponsibilitiesPartner with executive leadership to design and implement people strategies that support business goals and drive performance. Adopt a strategic Business Partner approach through collaboration and providing high support and challenge to leadership teams. Embed talent management initiatives such as succession planning and performance management, fostering a culture of robust conversations around objectives and performance. Assist leadership in navigating international expansion from a people perspective, applying OD expertise to support global strategies. Identify opportunities to align HR practices across markets, collaborating with the broader HR team on unified plans. Provide expertise in organizational design to ensure scalable, sustainable structures aligned with the enterprise target operating model. Support change management initiatives, fostering a culture of learning and adaptability. Collaborate with the wider People team, including Shared Services, People Development, Talent Acquisition, and Reward, to develop scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions. The Ideal CandidateExperience supporting international HR functions or working outside the UK. Significant experience partnering at Director/Executive level in a corporate environment, preferably retail. Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior leadership. Ability to collaborate across HR functions for optimal solutions. Experience with mergers and acquisitions is desirable. Proven ability to work at pace, balancing immediate needs with strategic projects. Effective workload management and prioritization skills. Commitment to personal development and career growth. Coaching qualification or working towards one is desirable.
