We are currently supporting them in the recruitment of Intensive Support Practitioners to join their expanding service across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a passionate, purpose-driven team making a real impact in young peoples lives through systemic advocacy and holistic support.About the Role:As an Intensive Support Practitioner, you will work directly with neurodivergent children, young people (CYP), and their families to deliver person-centred support, using trauma-informed and anti-oppressive practices. Youll collaborate with education, social care, health, and other professionals to co-produce interventions that promote safety, resilience, and wellbeing.Key Responsibilities:Deliver holistic, trauma-informed support to families and neurodivergent CYPChampion the voice of young people in shaping care and education plansLiaise with schools, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teamsComplete risk assessments, manage crisis protocols, and support Missing from Home responsesTake on 'Appropriate Adult' responsibilities where requiredSupport mental health needs in collaboration with psychology teamsParticipate in reflective supervision, training, and out-of-hours on-call rotationEssential Requirements:Experience supporting neurodivergent children and young people in acute/crisis settingsStrong understanding of systemic barriers and how unmet needs affect behaviour and outcomesConfident navigating multidisciplinary care and servicesExperience using electronic case recording systemsFull UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insuranceDesirable (but not essential):Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples WorkforcePMVA or other crisis intervention trainingRecognised Social Work or childcare qualificationSkills & Attributes:Resilient, calm, and dependable under pressureEmpathetic communicator and advocate for inclusive careProficient in Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilitiesEnthusiastic about improving outcomes for vulnerable CYPBenefits Include:Extensive Health & Wellbeing support programmeFree parking & refreshmentsStaff wellbeing daysDay off on your birthdayPension schemeRegular team eventsIf you are passionate about transforming the lives of neurodivergent children and thrive in a values-driven, responsive environment, wed love to hear from you.
