Electrician - Devizes, SN10 2AZ, United KingdomAre you an experienced electrician looking for a new journey? If so come and join our Wiltshire team.Youll bring your proven track record of carrying out electrical installations in a domestic dwelling to support the electrical team. Your work is scheduled in for you and jobs are shared with you via an electronic handheld device (your PDA) so youll be comfortable using technology and IT systems.Youll work alone primarily, so youll be confident working to your own initiative, but you will get plenty of support from your team. The team get together for team meetings, and youll attend toolbox talks for regular training and company updates.Youll be given a company vehicle to get around,so youll need a full UK manual driving licence. You'll be about and about working in customer's homes throughout the region.Youll be an ambassador for us with a can do attitude and a right service, first time mentality. Youll enjoy providing high quality service to our customers whilst being the friendly face of Aster.About YouYoull be a fully qualified electrician, holding an AM2 qualification or equivalent, with demonstrable experience in domestic electrical installations. You will carry out inspection and testing to British standards to a set programme, advising on progress and completing all necessary records in hard and electronic files as required.As an electrician, youll know that safety is priority therefore youll have knowledge and understanding of safety regulations and will carry out all works in line with this. Youll also have a good understanding of health & safety regulations.Youll be motivated with a focus on customer service as youll be in our customers homes every day.You will be customer facing, take pride in your work, have good problem solving and installation skills and be willing to become a key contributor to providing an excellent level of service and customer satisfaction.Youll also liaise with our internal colleagues to ensure works are completed and any ongoing works are logged appropriately. Youll have a flexible approach to work with the ability to take part in an out of hours standby rota within your region.Youll be able to work effectively in a team and autonomously when necessary and have enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service and an ability to keep calm in difficult situations. Good communication skills both verbally and written are essential for this role. You will need to be willing and able to meet face fit requirements.
