Title : Procurement Manager Estates & FM or Professional Services Sector: Higher Education Location : Remote hybrid (1 day per week in either Chelmsford or Cambridge) Salary & Package : 45,000 32 days holiday a further strong benefits package Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious Higher Education institution that is investing heavily in its procurement capability.The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.As the university embarks on an exciting phase of transformation, theyre looking to appoint two Procurement Managers to help drive value and innovation across a range of key categories.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a procurement function that is well-established, forward-thinking, and playing a strategic role in shaping the University's future.Backed by strong leadership and a clear vision, the team is trusted and highly visible across the organisation.Due to growth, the Head of Procurement is hiring for: Procurement Manager Estates & FM Procurement Manager Professional Services Whether you're an experienced Procurement Manager or a Buyer/Procurement Officer ready to step up, this is your chance to lead impactful projects and work in a collaborative, people-first environment.Key Responsibilities Lead full end-to-end procurement processes including tendering, supplier management, and contract negotiations Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the university, including senior leadership and department heads Run competitive tenders and lead on procurement specifications, including Framework Agreements Create and deliver strategic category plans aligned to long-term goals Experience & Requirements Strong experience managing indirect procurement categories Estates/FM or Professional Services Proven track record of delivering value through compliant, strategic sourcing Solid understanding of public sector procurement regulations (PCR2015, OJEU, UCR, Procurement Act etc.) CIPS qualification is a plus, but not essential A proactive mindset and desire to contribute to a high-performing team Why Apply?
