This project represents the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain, providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes. NG Bailey, the UK’s leading independent engineering and services business, is part of theMEH Alliance , a joint venture responsible for delivering the mechanical, electrical, and HVAC installation for the project. As part of our recent growth on this project, we are seekingMaterials Coordinatorsto support the Material to Site Function by managing the preparation and configuration of all outbound material to site, based on the installation plan. This is a full-time, permanent position based at logistics sites around Bridgwater, with onsite parking available. Key ResponsibilitiesAttend coordination meetings covering procurement, expediting, and warehouse inventory for all MEH materials. Coordinate and communicate effectively between material package managers, warehouse teams, and construction teams. Gather data from a 16-week lookahead to support scheduling of deliveries and installation of materials per category and construction area. Assist with cataloguing, identification, issuing of materials, and data entry into the asset management system. Collaborate with departments such as planning, engineering, logistics, and site-wide teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient material movement, storage, and care. Provide feedback and report to the Materials Preparation and Configuration Manager on process improvements, HS&E, and reporting shortfalls. Complete forms related to the maintenance and disposal of plant, materials, and equipment for management review. Ensure all documentation, records, and reports are organized and accessible for audits and inspections. Candidate RequirementsExperience in construction procurement or warehouse asset management. Understanding of material disciplines within construction, standards, and storage requirements is advantageous. Proven experience in material/asset management and maintaining quality records throughout the process. Strong IT skills, especially in data entry into asset, inventory, and maintenance systems. Experience in producing and managing reports for compliance with audits and inspections.
