Systems Team Lead 80,000 Sussex Were seeking an experienced Systems Lead to manage and grow a team of systems engineers delivering advanced solutions. This role blends technical leadership, project oversight, and team development to drive engineering excellence across the full product lifecycle .You will lead systems design, integration, validation, and compliance activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery. Working closely with cross-functional teams, youll ensure system-level coherence and maintain rigorous standards in documentation, risk management, and regulatory compliance . Youll also support bid activity, guide engineering strategy, and contribute to continuous improvement. A strong focus on mentoring, recruitment, and staff development is essentia l. Requiremen ts:Degree in Systems Engineering or related field (2:1 or abov e).7+ years in systems design (electromechanical focu s).5+ years in technical and people leadership rol es.Full lifecycle experience, including compliance and safe ty.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skil ls.
