Youll assist with day-to-day commercial operations and gain exposure to tendering, cost control, and project management processes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost estimatesPerform take-offs from technical drawings and produce accurate quantity surveysSupport with contract administration, including deliveries, instructions, and variationsHelp evaluate supplier quotations and maintain commercial documentationWork closely with project, workshop, and site teams to ensure project data is currentMonitor costs and compliance with contractual obligationsSupport general project and tender administrationAbout YouYou may be a recent graduate, someone with a construction trade background, or an individual looking to transition into a commercial role in construction. You must be ambitious, highly organised, and ready to learn.Must-Have Skills & ExperienceUK construction experience (essential)Strong interest in construction, ideally carpentry or joineryExcellent attention to detail and analytical thinkingProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general IT systemsStrong written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently and collaborativelyCommitted to an in-office learning environmentTraining & DevelopmentYour career development will be closely supported by senior Quantity Surveyors and the Commercial Director.
