Lead Planner Location: Doncaster | Full-Time | Ropsley Group Were looking for a Lead Planner with advanced MS Project skills to take the lead in planning and scheduling across multi-disciplinary engineering projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.You'll play a pivotal role in driving project timelines, resource planning, and risk managementensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and update detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project (advanced level essential) Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and clients to define deliverables and timelines Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies Lead planning workshops and provide regular project reports Support tender and bid processes with fully resourced programmes Mentor junior planners and collaborate across teams to ensure planning consistency Requirements 57 years experience in planning/scheduling in engineering (ideally energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure) Advanced knowledge and proven experience using MS Project Experience with Primavera P6 desirable Able to read technical drawings and manage planning for multiple projects Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Degree in Engineering or Project Management preferred What You Bring A proactive, solution-focused approach to planning High-level scheduling, problem-solving, and presentation skills Confidence to lead planning conversations across senior and site teams Flexibility to travel to project locations as needed Join Ropsley Group and help shape the planning standards that drive our projects forward.Please Note: Please note that this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship .Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.Apply now or reach out to learn more.
