Senior Mechanical Project Manager Salary up to 105,000 plus Travel Healthcare Pension.A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Location: Oxford They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead the Mechanical element on a fast and complex project in Oxford.Based in an ever-growing science park, this scheme is a 4m Mechanical package on a private hospital facility.Preconstruction has begun with the install beginning around Q3 2025.The successful candidate will be expected to take the project from pre-construction through to handover.Key to this role is relationship management, team coordination and project reporting.The position will be supported by a team of engineers, construction managers and supervisors Role/Responsibilities: Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants) Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant Technical submittals RFIs Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors Value Engineering where applicable Programming of works using MS Project or Asta project Health & Safety management (RAMs) Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey.Management of variations Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors) Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings Overseeing commissioning stages Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover The ideal candidate: Will be familiar working in a fast pace environment Experience working in the commercial sector Experience managing projects to a minimum of 6M within your own discipline A minimum 5 years experience in a senior management role Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as ISg, Lend Lease, Sir Robert McAlpine and Mace.The candidate will show longevity in previous employment In return they offer: The opportunity to work on a landmark, one of kind project.A healthy pipeline of work Join a stable business who have an excellent staff attrition rate.A very competitive basic salary, good package and an excellent bonus scheme.Our client are keen to promote from within and this position is no exception, with realistic opportunities to progress into an operational role in the future
