Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join their team near Taunton in Somerset.Do you have the skills to fill this role Read the complete details below, and make your application today.This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the home and support the Registered Manager Role Overview: As the Deputy Manager of the Childrens Home, you will work closely with the Registered Manager in this Social Care setting to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality care and support.You will lead and inspire a team to provide a safe, understanding environment.This position involves flexible working hours, including weekends, bank holidays, and possible sleep-in duties.Key Responsibilities: Lead and Safeguard: Champion the safeguarding by ensuring their needs and well-being are prioritised at all times.Team Leadership: Mentor and coach team members Care Planning: Oversee the completion of care plans and risk assessments, ensuring they are understood and followed by the team.Therapeutic Environment: Foster a nurturing home environment through consistent routines and support for personal identity development.Communication: Act as a liaison between team members and external stakeholders.Health and Safety: Lead health and safety initiatives, ensuring the home environment is safe and well-maintained.What Were Looking For: Minimum of 18 months experience working in a residential setting.Experience as a Deputy Manager or similar Previous experience in a leadership role is desirable.Strong knowledge of safeguarding Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A positive, flexible approach with the ability to motivate and inspire others.Benefits: Comprehensive training provided, along with the potential to achieve a Level 5 qualification The chance to work with a dedicated team in a supportive environment.A salary of 34,000-36,500
