Air Conditioning Engineer Overview: The Air Conditioning Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of air conditioning systems. This role may involve working independently or as part of a team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality service. Key Responsibilities: Install air conditioning systems and components according to specifications and technical drawings Fit piping, ductwork, and electrical wiring in compliance with relevant standards Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or part replacements Perform emergency repairs when required Test and commission systems, making any necessary performance adjustments Provide clear explanations of technical issues and solutions to clients Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards Maintain accurate records of work completed Deliver excellent customer service at all times Qualifications & Experience: Recognised qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3) Valid F-Gas certification Proven experience in a similar role Full UK driving licence Skills & Attributes: Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills Accurate fault diagnosis and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service focus Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Physically fit and able to work in a variety of environments Competent in the safe use of tools and equipment Working Conditions: Work conducted at various locations, both indoors and outdoors Conditions may vary depending on the site Travel and overtime may be required based on workload and location TPBN1_UKTJ
