Claim cashback on a wide selection of health and wellbeing initiatives, including discounted health club memberships and free healthcare benefits.Professional development - We are committed to helping you reach your potential by offering tailored learning and development programmes to pursue your career goals.Shopping discounts - Our employees can choose from many retailers to get discounts or cashback on everyday purchases from our favourite high street clothing stores to our go-to supermarkets, as well as access to free online training courses.As our Paraplanner you will typically:Participate in and delivering comprehensive financial research, within set SLAs, on products and investments on an independent basis using company-approved research toolsPrepare and delivering bespoke investment reports, within set SLAs, to clients through the analysis of existing investment portfolios and comparison against suitable benchmarksPrepare and interpreting complex plan information with a view to completing transfer analysisPrepare complex financial planning reports, within set SLAs, in multiple financial planning areasResearch and review, where necessary, new and existing legislation and technical/product information to aid in the role that is performed.Thorough research conducted where necessary and referring to Senior team members, where necessaryParticipating in firm research projects, adhering to set deadlines, as and if requiredWhat we are looking for in our ideal Paraplanner:Diploma in Financial PlanningDemonstration of knowledge, interest and experience in personal financial planning and in the construction of financial planning research and suitability reportsExperience in an IFA environment, demonstrating quality communications of constructive feedbackA high standard of written and numerical skillsAn ability to demonstrate strong report-writing skillsA high level of accuracy and attention to detailAptitude in Microsoft OfficeKey Risk Responsibilities:Completion of assigned tasks, ensuring that SLAs are adhered toDelivery of accurate and thorough research, calculations, New Business Investment Reports and FPRs to advisersContribution into technical and regulatory development of advisers and/or staff on a specific case basisContribution into technical and regulatory development of Trainee Paraplanners Thorough research conducted where necessary and referring to Senior team members, where necessaryWith over 30 years of experience and more than 200 accredited advisers nationwide, AFH is one of the UK's leading independent financial advisory firms.
