As a commissioning engineer you will play a critical role in delivering key projects to our clients. You will be field based covering London and the South East, supported by our team based in Egham.The successful individual will be driven and technically confident to deliver some exciting BMS projects, whilst using the latest technologies and developments across multiple sectors, such as commercial offices, healthcare and datacentres.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeCommissioning the installation of BMS and Control systems outlined by the Project Manager.Composing your own software strategies and graphics engineering.Perform physical wiring checks and plant start-ups, provide technical support to other trades and sub-contractors and carry out trouble shooting to diagnose system defects.What do I need?Experience commissioning BMS and Control systems, especially with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4 controls.Exceptional communication and reporting skills are a must-have for maintaining strong relationships with team members and customers.Experience crafting your own software strategies and graphics, and your professionalism and dedication are unmatched.Driving license is required due to frequent travel.About Our BusinessSSE Smart Buildings business makes some of the most iconic buildings come alive!Were one of the largest building controls companies in the UK, renowned for its sustainability credentials; and the highest levels of accreditation and market position with leading technology companies including Honeywell (Trend, Tridium & Niagara); Siemens and DistechOur business helps achieve optimised working environments leading to reductions in buildings energy consumption through the installation and maintenance of a variety of building control technologies, including Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), and the application of data analytics to provide building performance insights.In addition to building control technologies, we deploy smart energy infrastructure solutions including: solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.We love being a market leader and topping out some outstanding projects to the very highest of standards - on time and within budget!What's in it for you?We offer an excellent package with 34 days annual leave entitlement.
