Position OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and experiencedBusiness Development Managerto drive growth in theUK public transportation (bus)sector. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong customer engagement capabilities, and a proven track record of developing new business opportunities, particularly with bus operators, system integrators, and public transport authorities. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute market strategies to expand Streamax’s footprint in the UK bus transportation sector. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with bus operators, OEMs, local councils, and public transport authorities. Build and maintain strong client relationships and key stakeholder engagement to ensure long-term business success. Lead the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, presenting solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions based on customer requirements. Represent Streamax at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions in the UK and across Europe. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies proactively. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the regional sales director. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of business development or sales experience in the transportation, telematics, or smart mobility industry. Solid understanding of the UK public bus ecosystem and procurement processes. Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and closing B2B deals. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally to Europe or headquarters. Existing work authorization in the UK is required.
