Work at a site producing rare High PSV material, essential for top-end surfacing and road applications Enjoy scenic surroundings at a stunning quarry site Get hands-on with diverse plant and equipment; no two days are the same Be part of a growing site with opportunities for long-term security and career advancement What You'll Be Doing Carrying out planned maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and infrastructure Responding swiftly to breakdowns with temporary and permanent solutions to maintain production Supporting safe work systems, risk assessments, and safety standards across the team Contributing to initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency Using welding, cutting, and fabrication skills to maintain key assets Supporting junior staff and communicating effectively across teams Conducting daily plant checks, reporting issues, and maintaining clean, hazard-free work areas What You'll Bring An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical maintenance, with experience in heavy industrial settings Skills in fabrication, welding, and fault-finding on various plant and equipment Strong team spirit and communication skills for working across different departments Good understanding of engineering drawings, safety systems, and preventative maintenance routines Experience with mobile plant (e.g., Loading Shovel, ADT) is a bonus but not essential We are committed to diversity and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
