Job Description

The Security Ambassador plays a key role within the store operations team. The role provides security and loss prevention support by maintaining security presence and conducting regular security patrols on the sales floor. What You’ll Do: Greet guests as they enter and exit the store and control access to the property. Encourage a positive and safe environment for all guests through effective communication, collaboration, and partnership with the store team. Supervise all store activities and respond to all security and safety matters in a timely manner. Assist in mitigating loss and the protection of assets by maintaining strong operational controls. Attend and participate in all store meetings and events. Develop and maintain professional relationships with external partners such as local law enforcement agencies, mall security, and other retailers to ensure all parties are well-informed with current and relevant information. Ensure all facility safety procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and on-site emergencies. Assess and assist in establishing security protocols for the store, including emergency response procedures. Complete and submit incident reports, health and safety inspections, operational control checklists, and action plans. Conduct security audits to prevent property loss. Provide training to new hires and ongoing employee training to maintain store loss prevention awareness. Support initiatives to maintain brand standards in delivery and merchandising processes. Work collaboratively with the Sr. Loss Prevention Manager to help influence brand strategies for mitigating loss. Maintain standards for store security equipment. Let’s Talk About You: Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a security services position in a retail setting. Solid understanding of workplace safety and emergency procedures. Previous experience in Loss Prevention. Valid first aid and CPR certificates. Possess Security Guard License, or willing to acquire required licensing. Team player with a proven growth mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Meticulous record keeping, report writing, and observation skills. Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.
