Design EngineerOur client is a well-established machinery manufacturer based in the Heckmondwike area. They are seeking an enthusiasticDesign Engineerto join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible forMechanical Design using SolidWorks , liaising with customers on specifications, and providing technical solutions. Creating user and maintenance manuals for machinery Developing 3D models using SolidWorks for machinery updates or modifications Leading continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing strategies Ensuring finished machinery complies with quality standards Greeting customers during visits to discuss parts requirements Collaborating with customers to understand specifications and deliver solutions Proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D modelling software Based within a commutable distance of Heckmondwike Experience in a Mechanical Design role Degree qualified in Mechanical or Design Engineering or industry experience Salary:£25,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience) Working hours:Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 14:00 Additional benefits include holiday allowance and pension.
