This is atemp-to-permopportunity offering long-term prospects and excellent conditions.The RoleSupervising the warehouse operations for the company Loading and unloading vehicles Checking off deliveries for accuracy Effective stock control and inventory management Managing the efficient use of storage space Communicating with office-based colleagues to coordinate logistics Working to tight deadlines and lead times Ensuring high standards of Health & Safety are maintained Operating machinery and FLT within the warehouse Manual handling General warehouse and ad-hoc duties as neededThe CandidateReliable and punctual Keeps a tidy and organised work environment Efficient and accurate in task execution Able to multitask, prioritise, and work independently Previous warehouse experience with stock control Positive attitude with a flexible, “can-do” approach Experience in a warehouse setting preferred Must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and UK driving licenceThe PackagePay Rate: £14.25 per hour Overtime: Paid at 1.16x after 39 hours per week Paid at 1.3x on weekends Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (flexibility required for early starts or late finishes when container deliveries arrive, sometimes from 6am or into the evening) Free onsite parking Company pension scheme (upon eligibility)This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your warehousing career with a secure, long-term position in a supportive environment.
