Responsible for maintenance of relevant employee personnel files i.e. contracts, benefits, medical records, training records, competency and appraisals. Monthly Workday (HiNext) audit Goods receipting invoices and creating POs for the HR dept Workday/SAP data entry for new starters, employee changes and leavers. Arranging medicals, OH referrals Managing sensitive and confidential matters including personnel relations, employee relations and organisational changes Support with the monthly payroll data submission Coordinate and deliver new starter induction Carrying out other duties and projects appropriate to the grading of the post as may be directed by the Head of HR Operations To be aware of, actively promote, and implement Hitachi’s ethos, culture and values. To be involved in Hitachi Rail Limited staff development and training and participate in PDP procedures. To adhere to the Hitachi Rail Limited Equal Opportunities Policy. To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be required Collate monthly payroll data for external payroll providerEssential Requirements Previous administrative experience with an HR Department, including contracts and offer letters. Excellent Planning, prioritising and organising skills Awareness and understanding of HR practices Sound knowledge of, and compliance to HR legislation Good written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work within a pressured environment whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy Ability to issue/create contracts and offer letters. Correspondence in accordance to promotions, Bonus and leavers. Able to represent Hitachi Rail Limited in a professional manner at all times Position holder must be able to interface effectively with all levels of personnel both within and outside the company. Intermediate IT skills – typically Word, Excel, Powerpoint Experience of and commitment to the effective implementation of equal opportunities and CSR policies.
