This role is about more than just driving — it’s about helping others and delivering great service with a smile. This role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and customers seek help in many ways. You’ll often feel like your own boss, delivering to customers, but there’s always a team of Managers and colleagues supporting you back at base. Delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by: Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized. Leaving the customer’s yard tidy and picking up litter. Washing trays as part of the process. Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness. Communicating with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds. Handling products carefully. Explaining substitutions and charges. Delivering within the customer’s time slot. Calling customers before early arrivals. Informing the store if running late. Building relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit. Being warm and welcoming to customers and colleagues. Responding quickly to customer needs and embracing change. Being energetic and driven to exceed expectations. Sharing ideas for store improvement. Having a valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic), at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
