3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from Mustard Tree You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with local, regional and national businesses, stewarding the organisations to become Mustard Tree’s Partners, and for us to be their ‘Charity of the Year’, donating to and fundraising for the charity. You will manage an existing caseload of these valued partners, with the aim to proactively create new relationships and partnerships, contacting through multiple channels, creating content, and hosting, touring, and presenting Mustard Tree’s community, impact, successes and needs to businesses. In addition to corporate partnerships, you will manage the stewardship of Mustard Tree’s events fundraisers, being responsible for planning, recruitment, achievement income targets, and ultimately making Mustard Tree’s events portfolio a community driven success. Main Duties: Corporate Partnership ·Steward a cohort of existing Corporate Partners through a variety of channels, engagement points and opportunities. Help them set and fulfill their fundraising pledges, banking £10,000 each month. ·Proactively build new relationships, ultimately securing new donors, partners, and ‘Charity of the Year’ organisations, making it clear and easy for donors to understand what we do, how they can help, and the impact they will have. ·Host, tour, meet with and present at a minimum of five organisations per week. This will be a mix of new organisations, and established partners. ·Manage all enquiries, emails, and queries relating to partnerships, corporate donations, volunteering, and events, ensuring timely responses. ·Manage the partnership inbox and work with the Fundraising team on our corporate bookings calendar. ·Work with the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator to plan and book Social Value Days for partners and prospective partners, liaising on roles, timings and impact. ·Then host these Corporate Partners for their volunteering inductions and debriefs. ·Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and publish copy, packs, social media content, and WordPress website pages relevant to Corporate Partnership and Events. ·Manage data entry and administration surrounding partnerships, including communication, contacts, targets, and funds raised, through our CRM system. ·Work with the Fundraising Manager to assign new and existing partners, create target lists and share responsibility, calendar engagements. ·Provide weekly updates on targets, expected income and how you are closing cash, and work to provide accurate forecasting. ·Manage our existing events portfolio, including The Great Manchester Run, Tough Mudder, Trafford Abseil and October Half Marathon, being responsible for their success. ·Investigate and develop new events to complement our 12-month calendar. ·Empower organisations to plan independent fundraising events and create a fundraising toolkit to support this. ·Support the planning and running of our October Fundraising Dinner, securing attendance from partners. ·Work with the Fundraising Manager to project event income and build the 12-month events fundraising pipeline. General Duties: ·Supporting the Fundraising Team where required, including administration, cover, and events attendance. ·Support the Fundraising & Finance Teams with data entry, CRM updates, and the creation of KPI data when required. ·Work within health & safety guidelines and Mustard Tree policies and procedures. ·Support other staff and departments, occasionally providing practical relief cover for work-streams, operational areas, classes and clubs. ·Take responsibility for professional development, attending training courses as required. ·Lead by example, embodying Mustard Tree values and representing the charity as required. ·Contribute towards being an environmentally responsible organisation as part of day-to-day activities, including recycling and supporting our ‘paper-light’ practices. ·Other tasks and duties relevant to the role as required by the organisation.
