Factory Manager Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum Type: Full-time, Permanent A well-established manufacturing company near Sutton is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee and drive the day-to-day manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This is a key leadership position where you’ll be responsible for managing manufacturing staff, production schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives across the factory floor. Key Responsibilities * Manage the full manufacturing process from planning through to production and delivery * Lead a team of factory and production staff, providing clear direction and support * Develop and manage efficient production schedules to meet business targets and customer demands * Ensure all manufacturing operations meet quality, safety, and compliance standards * Monitor factory performance and implement improvements to optimise manufacturing efficiency * Coordinate with senior leadership on production planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimisation * Oversee stock levels, machinery maintenance, and general shop floor operations Requirements * Proven experience in a factory, production, or manufacturing management role * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and team leadership * Demonstrated ability to manage staff, optimise production workflows, and maintain high performance * Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills * Hands-on leadership style with a commitment to continuous improvement * Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a bonus This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Factory Manager to join a growing manufacturing business and take ownership of a busy and productive operation.
